Jumpnode appliance -
a lightweight, plug-in monitoring device.
Plug the appliance into your network, power it up, and you're ready to configure your checks and start
monitoring. Its that simple.
Every monitoring appliance includes an analog modem and associated
modem service for greater connectivity assurance.
Should your WAN go down,
the Jumpnode appliance will automatically switch to dial-up mode,
using Jumpnode's toll-free, dedicated dial-up service.
The Jumpnode appliance typically requires zero firewall configuration.
All data transmission occurs as encrypted outbound HTTP requests.
An onboard node console provides tools for network
configuration and troubleshooting. Access to this console
is activated by a LAN usb-key that creates a private network
between your monitoring appliance and a laptop or workstation.
The node console
is only available while the usb-key is plugged in, ensuring the
security of your appliance.
The 1-U rack-mount kit, available as an additional accessory,
can hold up to three JN 200 appliances.
